Don't forget...

The tunes Captain. Always second to none and always original. I mean, where are you going to hear the Russian national anthem and Dexy's Midnight Runners in the same place. Can't take your drinks outside though or the owner gets very, very upset.

Ah yes, the clean-up.......

Yes, poor little Calvin was blamed today for the Molson Canadian can that was left by a patron. The manager would NEVER leave cans around the establishment because he knows his job is on the line......It is only when hoodlums come off the street banging on the back door that problems of this nature arise.....Right, One Dart?......

Thank goodness I can always blame the maintenance guys in a pinch, right Belfast Cowboy?........

Guinness

Hey Guinny:

Is there a frigging crappy drinking establishment that you haven't been in?

Perhaps this could be a new thread-Bad Bars Visited by Guinness.
;)

The naked guy at the 7-11 is Magic? The things that excite some people. You could probably get on Jerry Springer with that one.

Captain..

The Savoy in Glasgow Captain, may have just taken best cougar bar of all time. Although Mad-dogs in Ediniburgh did take honorable mention.

Cowboy's in Calgary is tough to match though.

Best drinks have to be at The Frontier Room, couple blocks north of Pioneer Square in Seattle. Most common saying there, " Sorry about the poor, would you like the coke on the side?"

not sure where to put this or if this is even allowable. My friend is opening up a club soon and would love some feed back on what people are into. As I do not frequent the bars/clubs/pubs I thought I might help him out by posting here. He has put a survey on line (it only takes 3 mins) to try and help him. My deepest apologises (sp??) if I offend anyone by this. Please remove it immediately if it is not allowable (time to take a spelling class). Anyways, this is the address:

Nope

thanks, l

What more can I say

I always had respect for you as a player and secondly as a perveyor of the wobbly pops.
But I always had a uneasy feeling playing fitba with you maybe it was because i was a Rangers fan wearing the Hoops?
It was a great expierence playing for Club I .
Say hi to your Dad for me !
A man should not be judged by what he has done in the past.
But what he has done on the field at the end of the day.
Oya i relly enjoyed the big ridge pub good food and cheap pints
2.75 a pint they brew there own.

Barnet Motor Inn

Hey Guinness:

Rumour has it that you were the guy in Gynecology Row at the Barnett who some stripper kicked in the head and you sued for brain damage and won. The way I heard it was that the evidence in the case was your posts on TTP!

I still can't figure out how KNVB can be in the lead in this poll.

By the way, I may be old but I'm not stupid.

Guinness and Bad Bars

Hey Dum Dum (Guinness):

Read the name of the thread. It is about bars to drink at, not the rooms they have where they show soccer games.

Is that the best you can do in a piss take you pathetic excuse for a TTPer? Like they say about you - if you're not on about drinking in a bad bar, there are three things you are always on: a phone, TTP and the ugliest sheep in the valley.

I must give you credit for one thing. You have a very open mind. I can feel the draft from here.
:p :p :p

You are also to be credited for not knowing the meaning of the word "fear" and "ridicule" in making shite posts. On second thought, you probably don't know the meaning of most words.

:p :p :p

Now to add a good bar: the Foggy Dew at North Road and the Lougheed Highway. There's a classy joint that even Guinness could find.

The only thing good about this place is the annual amateur contest where ANYTHING goes on stage. Couple years back I thought I was was a duo porn show. Bouncer at the front door watches for the cops to show and shut er down. Thats entertainment!:D

anything goes...

wherever I go:rolleyes:

Speaking of "cheap-not-the-best-atmosphere-places-but-good-drinking-places"...(cheap spin-off of Beaker's thoughts )...

Holiday Inn (downtown) Lounge - Free Popcorn and Free mini wraps to make you thirsty for the $2.50 bottles of local bzzrs and $2.50 highballs ;) makethatadoubleshortplease Everyday of the week.

When that place loses the atmosphere, head next-door to Panama Jack's for more cheap bevies and free pool:) Please be aware that the south pool table is shite!

Got a road trip to Calgary coming up. I'll check on that hot dog stand for you outside Cowboys. Don't recall myself, too many pints and 50 cent shooters.

I hate country music and country bars even more but Roosters in Pitt meadows has the best drink specials around and lots of Talent. 2 dollar coronas on Sunday ( isn't that right bertrum) and 1.50 pint night on thursday's. Gotta love it.... Cheers Boys.......:D  :D   ;)

Shark Club Langley

Went there on Friday night and had a great time from what I can remember. Ran into a couple of TTP'ers there and Train, what happened to you. Remember the two we were with?, well you should have stuck around :D (if you know what I mean):)

The Regal Beagle, West Broadway.

They pull the worst pint in town. Horrible. Shame, cos with a few well kept ales it could be a great little local.

Drinking Tip: When in the Beagle go for the bottled beers.

Let me take a wild stab...Waggie was there with Drew from our team...

Train may score a fair bit on the pitch, but he's the strike-out king in that other department.:D
