Dragoons out played out drank and simply out co-ed classed "The Shadows" tonight. 1-0 nil was the score, despite the Dragons going down a woman early in the second and with no lady subs to spare. At this time we would like to thank the Mountain Shadows for being so damn accommodating with our recent predicaments with a hardy........

Next game is just after midnight on Tuesday, I hear it's a bring your own tent night. It will be interesting to see if SC/The Closer can continue her fantastic Bocce streak on the turf.

Just Like Old Times

Ahh... it brings back memories of the times when using Viagra wasn't a necessity. No upsets in the first round, and the familiar names of Buddha, Dragons, Cheatside, and Young Guns go through. Tonight, YG Inc topped our younger and more sexually appealing subsidiary squad, The Gunners 7-3. One day the Gunners will carry on the Yosemite Sam logo proudly. One day.

By the way, The Cheatside/Beernuts match tonight was a beauty. Sometimes it was a beast, but more about that later. Anyhoo, Cheatside's keeper was tre-men-dous. I thought Cheatside were going to win big after they were up 2-0, but the Beernuts put up a great fight only to lose in OT.

After watching that match and its many "events" I was going to carve into the Beernuts a bit. But I'll pass. It turns out the Beernuts are buying corporate boxes to our fundraiser next week, and until the cheque is cleared, the Beernuts are A-O-K in my books.

By the way Gunter, I thought those boots of yours were beauties. I don't see what the big fuss about you is, anyway! Oh yeah, you wanted 10 tickets, right?

For the record, if anyone claims that the Beernuts were the dirtier of the two squads tonight, then I'll say: Hey...I was lacing my boots up and didn't notice.

If anyone claims the Beeruts continually beatched and complained with Herb tonight, then I'll say: Hey...I was on the phone with the Conductor and didn't hear anything.

If anyone mentions the name "Rico" and "Pshychotic Tryhard" in the same sentence, then I'll say: Hey...Rico and I will see you in court.

If anyone mentions that the Beernuts had their own ball boy chasing down any stray ball in order to conserve time, then I'll say: Hey...Where can I adopt myself a kid like that?

And if anyone says that after the Beernuts tied the score up with seconds to go, they acted like they had 18 simultaneous orgasms, then I'll say: Hey...I felt like taking a nap afterwards. And why's the Ballboy got that weird look on his face? I never got that look until I was at least 15.

Beernuts, glad you're coming to the party this Friday. Thanks also for your subscription to the Young Guns Fan Club. As well as tickets to the fundraiser, you'll also get an autographed photo from our 1996 season. Don't ask me why all 26 signatures are the same.

By the way, when did Cheatside decide to take the "Cheat" out of their game? Will the REAL Cheatside, please stand up?

Does anyone know who advanced to the semi's for the "B" cup??Also does anyone know if Mavericks finally decided to show up for a game??I mean it was a playoff a game!!By the way I thought there was a league rule that if you forfiet 3 league games you automatically weren't allowed in the playoffs??We here at YG Inc. were the reason for this rule about a decade ago!!Also I would like to congratulate all "A" cup first round winners.Looking forward to the match with Cheatside!Should make for a good game.Just remember though we here at YG Inc. still remember how your name was changed to Cheatside.YG looking for redemption!!! p.s. if anyone cares to know or to watch, this game will be played ay 8:30 on thursday night at Port Moody Turf.

Even with our plethora of substitutes the Mountain Shadow squad couldn't manage to capitalize on our chances and we were defeated by a "lucky" goal that was actually supposed to be a cross....oops!

Congrats to the Dragons, and the other teams who have advanced, to the semi-finals!

I believe it would have been 10 nothing if he wasn't in net. I think we were lucky it was ONLY 1-0.

Good luck against the tryhards. They MIGHT be able to generate a bit more offense than we did.

Not a bad start for the Beernuts

Considering we're all new to co-ed we did well!

And as for our 18 orgasms (mine was great Dial 9-1-1) it was well deserved! Shannon's "header" that tied up the game in the last 30 seconds was the best goal all game!! And she tried so hard to do it again! GOOD JOB SHANNON!

I'd say both teams played a hard game but a few Cheatside players could have kept their mouth shut as that bullsht wasn't needed!

And Rico did have a little outburst but the testosterone was definitely boiling from most of the men!

And even though we lost, we were (again) the last die hards on the field (and few YG's were around for a while.....we'll see you 2 on Friday) until after midnight (some even longer..... ) with our Tiki Torches....

So for the rest of the playoffs you'll see us around......

BDGC, I say, it's a good thing we became BBQ pals prior to last night. You guys were in line for a royal 9-1-1 carving after placing ninth. Your loss to Mavericks last night would have given me about 5 years worth of material. There MUST be a logical explanation to all this!!

The only time I think of Mavericks is when I think of fundraisers, like the one this Friday--send a PM to Conductor for details--Remember! No free or subliminal advertising allowed on TTP.

My guess...your guys who went to Merritt couldn't believe how easy the women were there and didn't want to come back. Or, your gals who went to Merritt couldn't believe how easy the women were there and didn't want to come back (hey--just kidding! ) Ahhh Merritt. If only life could be that easy.

Anyhoo, the invitation is still open to all of you for a cookoff with YG Inc. this Sunday at Burnaby Lakes (the actual grass park area). Weather permitting. The Carts are working on finding a hibatchi and charcoal. No comment about security. The Beernuts are bringing the contiki torches and their YG Inc. trading cards and stickers. If there are any Dragons or Cheatsiders in the area, you're welcome as well...Or, you could let us all crash your cookoff. Like that'll ever happen!

Just so you know, the cup they use now is just a replica. The real cup is on display at the AMSL Hall of Fame (Young Guns Inc. Head Office). Needless to say, it's been gathering some dust. PM the conductor if you want to organise a tour.

By the way, how many more posts are required until I lose the "Merely Annoying" label?
