I heard Westside defeated West Van again 3-0. Also heard 3 more red cards given out. Any update @Sir M or @Dancin Bear ?

First red card to Shorty who pulled Simon back and fouled him as he went in on the keeper. It was a straight red but even if it was in doubt, Shorty was already on a yellow. So.......
We scored soon afterwards.....made it two with about 10 to go and the third in the last couple of minutes. They got a second red in injury time with some in your face abuse to the ref and also took a swipe at the red card.

Two red cards. That was it. That aside, I thought we were full value over the 90. Look, at the end of the day, this is Masters football. We all want to win and the WV lads are good guys. That said, it was embarrassing the last couple of games playing in good games except for the ridiculous cards handed out. We're not always going to agree with referees but the 2 reds on Saturday were deserved and frankly the whole 'why do all the referees hate us' attitude is getting old. A good team that just needs to get on with it and stick to the football.

Who is potentially getting the boot? Posting here as some Master's A cup games were on.

From the site looked like Columbus play Harps.

We have played Harps before at Burnaby Lake had no issue with them drinking in the changerooms.

Columbus plays there all the time so they know the rules.

Maybe one of them got caught?



The only others playing were a U-21 game and they don't drink as mom picks them up and gets them home so they can go on instagram so no way it was them.

Or, was it FC Serbia and Romania "B" in the Master's B cup?

Not a shocker at all. Columbus clearly the better team on the night. The Westside goal was a blunder by the Columbus keeper. The defender passed the ball back and he attempted to stop the ball by putting his foot on it but it rolled right under and into the net.
Westside lucky not to lose by larger margin.

Not entirely sure that is completely accurate. Both sides had chances and a bad miss one on one with the keeper that would have made it 2-0 late for us that I think would have killed it. That said, we were poor and didn't deserve anything out of that game. Lucky not to lose by a larger margin is inaccurate though. Good luck to Columbus and a wee wait until Provincials.

Poco MF 3-1 Pcov. Chippy game with both teams battling hard. MF's depth on the bench helped and so did Ernesto's shocking game in the middle. Anyways, hate to sound bitter in any way but good luck to Columbus and MF in the final. We will get ready for our battle with West Van for the league.
