FFS I read the thread as well and didn't see that. Either need new specs or shouldn't read websites at that time of the morning

Light Bulb fcFusion is a dumb name for a team just to start with.
There will be a few hold overs from the Richmond team and some UBC alumni that make up the core numbers. This should be interesting. I think it has to be all ubc guys or none to
looks like pool b is playing in the Irish league.
Where does club I champ end up?There will be a few hold overs from the Richmond team and some UBC alumni that make up the core numbers.
The glue factory??Where does club I champ end up?
Yes new management and coaching staff. I hear they might be stuck with the name for one season because of how late things transpired. Will there be a name change? New management formally? Excellent Site still showing Stokes and Arnold et al...
A summer transfer shocker has Milad Mehrabi, the leading scorer for Provincial Champions CCB, dropping down to play in Division 2 with Shaheen. I am told that he has personal connections on the team and the transfer had been confirmed by multiple sources, including some inside CCB. This instantly has to make Shaheen the favourites for promotion from 2A. They were already neck and neck as pre-season favourites along with Metropolitan coming into the season, but you have to think that this puts them out on their own as clearly the team to beat. Worth noting that "crazy" Milad Rahmati will still be at CCB for their 2019/20 campaign.
In response to losing Mehrabi, CCB have embarked on another summer recruitment drive. If you have not been following along with their social media, they have added upwards of ten players so far this summer. PCSL Cup champions Rino's Tigers appear to be the hardest hit by the CCB "spending" spree with from TSS and SFU duo Matteo and Marcello Polisi heading for Surrey, along with stalwart centre back Ellie Gindo, who is set to join his third team in as many seasons, plus UBC man Kristian Yli-Hietanen. They have also nabbed former UBCer Rylan Sangha back from Rovers Tigers and Aly Adeeb from Vic West and Victoria Highlanders, plus goal keeper Hudson Nelles from the North Shore and Capilano University. Their most high profile signing though is likely for U17 and U20 Canadian National Team player and Whitecaps Residency player Jordan Haynes. Haynes won the USL League Two title with Calgary foothills two summers ago and played with TSS this year. He has committed to playing for UBC this fall but is evidently off to Surrey after that to play with CCB.
It is worth noting that almost none of these players will be eligible to play for CCB at Nationals in October. CCB are allowed to add three players to their roster for the competition, but none of them can have competed in the BC Provincial Cup competition. That rules out the majority of these signings with most of the others having university commitments at that time of year as well.
With their roster taking a hit due to CCB and their aggressive recruitment, sources say that Rino's Tigers are set for another blow with the man who helped lead them to their PCSL Challenge Cup crown, Farivar Torabi, likely to stay in Division 1 at Burnaby Metro. Tigers have not entirely ruled out luring him away to the bright light of the Premier Division, but, for now, the odds makers have him staying with Burnaby. It will be interesting to see if Rino's are able to complete any high profile signings before the season, their PCSL winning side would certainly be able to compete in the top half of Prem, but you have to wonder if they will be able to compete for trophies in the same way as they have been over the past couple of campaigns.
Other news and notes from around the league:
League sources have confirmed that Richmond FC is no more and has been turned over to UBC; the name will remain Richmond FC though, even if games are played out of UBC.
A fun note note about Campo has them rumoured to have no-showed at the annual Kamloops tournament on August long weekend, despite having registered and paid. While they maintain that they have a team of players ready to compete in Division 1, they are obviously a well guarded secret given that these are apparently not the players that were trounced in the KSL all summer.
As mentioned in the FVSL forum, Mark Baldisimo, not to be confused with brother Michael and Matthew who play for the Whitecaps and Pacific FC respectively, has moved from Coastal FC to Columbus to bolster their roster in their return to the VMSL's top flight.
Finally, a glance at the Excellent Site reveals that all of the teams formerly listed as VUFC (Vancouver United/"VanU") are now simply just "Vancouver Rangers." Not sure if VanU has other plans for their men's program or are disassociating with adult football entirely. We will have to wait and see.
This is correct.
