As Emailed to us from the league:

"Gents:

As I am sure you are aware, rainouts have left us with some teams playing
round of 32 today and others playing round of 16. This is how it shapes
up for the next few weeks:

March 2:

Round of 16: GEU Titans vs PoCo City Dominion CAT


Round of 16: Whalley Storm vs Eagleridge United.

Winner of above 2 games play each other in 1/4 final the following week
(March 9).

Round of 16: PoCo City Hotspur vs SFC Hook & Ladder

Winner will play North Delta FC in 1/4 final the following week (March 9).


1/4 Final: Port Moody Lions vs Langley United FC "B"
1/4 Final: GEU Associates vs North Delta Lions (CAT)

Winner of last 2 games play each other in semi-finals.


Semi-finals are scheduled for play on March 23."

Where are all the other Presidents Cup teams? Very quiet in here. With two spots for the "B" Cup(mmmmmm b cups )up for grabs, this is a pretty important cup now. I thought there'd be more banter.

All the teams with members here who like to talk it up are out of the cup. ie:GEU Tigers.

TR, you want banter? What does the man have against the Poco City club. First, he puts three of our teams in the same side of the table.(I think that Pacific was also in our side of the table, so that would be four teams). Now, when we reach the semi finals, one of the top 2 teams will have been eliminated. Our semi-final game should be the final. Now the Cat team will not get to play in the finals, as the Hotspur go on to take the title

Dreams are free Argyle.
Just think of it as a Poco tournament within a tournament. Whoever finishes higher in the Cup wins the tournament.

We (Langley CAT) have been relegated to FVSL League Play. You will find us "talking" it up in the CAT forum with Chilliwack and Peace Arch LOL.

So let's here some predictions for the cup games coming up this weekend?
Some good games going on.
The match of the weekend has to be N.D. Lions vs. GEU.
2 cat teams in the quarter finals.

I think Whalley and Poco cat will win.
Also Poco city hotspurs to win.
Langley United FC "b" should win to.

Gonna be some tight games. Good luck to all.

A couple of weeks isn't a very long while. As long as the Hotspur show up to play like they have the last few weeks, they'll prove something. Especially since they manhandled the PoCo Fury, and Cat had quite the tough time.

We'll see what happens after this weekend.

I would hardly call scores of 2-0 and 3-3 manhandling. As far as the CAT, that will not happen again. Guaranteed!!
