To make a call from a pay phone just doubled to 50 cents starting September 11th. They say that the maintenance on the phones far exceeds the total amount of quarters their getting in return.

Just another way to make money by Telus along with the fact that hardly anyone uses them anymore since the invention of the cell phone.
