Three teams from Island, a side from US anda Lanley side will make the league much stronger. Kamloops took a year off. I am darn sure they will come with a totaly new side next year.
Top players from U21 should look in and try out for some of the clubs posted on Welcome to the official website for the Pacific Coast Soccer League
It seams that in next few years PCSL will double in size.

B&W Army, you are turning into a bastion of misinformation :p

PCSL Clubs shows pretty clearly it is the same club.
So let's get this straight:

* Port Coquitlam Adult Soccer Association
* Port Coquitlam F.C. Soccer Association
* Poco FC
* Poco City FC

...are all the same thing. How odd that someone would get confused.

The PCSL team was initially announced as "Poco City FC", but now has been changed to "PoCo FC". Again, how strange someone would get confused.

And on the "same old car with oil leaking from the engine" front, with just one week to go until the 2012 PCSL season begins, Mid Isle Highlanders have dropped down from the men's premier division to the men's reserve division.

Bellingham United broke the news indirectly, and a look at the division tables on the PCSL website confirms why.

But rather than being due to a problem, this change might be due to a partnership with Victoria Highlanders. Announcement to come on Monday.

Yes, they have an affiliation already, and there were some whispers that Mid Isle Highlanders acted as a de facto Victoria Highlanders Reserves last year. But now that the Victoria Highlanders Reserves is a formal team that will join PCSL Prem this year, I suppose it makes sense for Mid Isle to drop down to the PCSL Reserve Division. Dropping down the week before the PCSL season is about to begin is far from ideal, though.

Not entirely sure what the Monday announcement is, but it involves Simon Keith, who is affiliated with Mid Isle Highlanders. He's originally from Victoria, now living in Las Vegas. Could be that Keith will become the second Victoria Highlanders owner-operator, alongside Alex Campbell Jr.; and that Mid Isle Highlanders will become Victoria Highlanders' summer "C" team.

I noticed that Mid Isle Highlanders' Facebook page has changed their background photo to one of some Victoria Highlanders academy kiddies...
