Pat Quinn

Pat Quinn spoke at a conference I attended this week. He spoke about his time as a player and coach over his many years in the NHL. Very interesting, some of the stories and antidotes were priceless.

Anybody ever heard him speak?

He went out and got his law degree after his playing days were done, if I'm not mistaken.

My college job was being one of the monkeys, er, ushers at GM place when it first opened. Pat Quinn came to speak to all the new employees at the time, and man, could he ever control a room. He was as good and engaging public speaker as I've ever seen.

But he did poison us into thinking Messier was a good addition to the squad...
