another night eludes us, we venture into tomorrow with only the thought of one day hopefully becoming a g.e.u ultra.

When I am not able to keep up with the guys in PoCo and am cut from the team I will be old and tired, I know that I will be able to join GEU.

TR, Yoda, Bertrum, Sliver or ??????

Going to watch the entertaining upset at albion field tonight? Aldergrove could pull out their first win.

Can't really let him get away with that can we? Skytrain, Sliver, Bertrum, Yoda, are you guys interested? Anyone from the FVSL threads? If so, go here.

FVSL Champions Voting

Has anyone noticed that GEU has now pulled into the lead in voting as the favorites to be FVSL Premier division champions?

I guess after watching the team play people are starting to see what we already know.

Anyone go to the Alouette Goons and Aldergrove United game last night?
What was the score?

What we already know is that the GEU lurkers are padding the stats.

Went to the game last night, not a very good game. Allouette 3 - Aldergrove 0. game could have gone either way if Aldergrove could finish, in the second half they had 4 half break aways.

scores

PoCo 4 - GN 0

Was again not the greatest win but we will take it. First half no scoring, we could not put it together, we had our chances though. GN Had 2 shots in the first half and 3 in the second. Second half was all PoCo. They were shaking in their boots. GN full of young guys who liked to run but did not know where they were running to.

TR, Yoda, Bertrum

GEU lost? What happened?

First the reserve team showed up and had no referee so there game got cancelled. Nothing like a 45 minute drive for no game.
Then we stuck around for the Premier game where a linesman didn't show up. We also heard that another Div 2 game had a no show for a ref too. Cheers to the referees for wasting our time.

As for the Premier team they had their chances early to go up 2 nothing but couldn't put the ball in the old onion bag. PA went up 1 nil a little later. GEU didn't play a strong game but they could have won this one. They got a little distracted by the atrocious refereeing. The score in cards was GEU-7 yellows, PA - 0 cards.
Only one of the cards was for an actual game incident.

GEU did tie it up in the last couple of minutes but the ref heard PA calling for a hand ball so he blew the whistle and called the goal back. A GEU player shot a rocket that hit another GEU player in the hand which then was potted in the net. The player had no way of getting out of the way of the shot but the ref heard everyone yelling so he called the hand ball.

Tough luck for GEU but revenge will be sweet at home.

I went 3 for 5 on my predictions this past weekend.

Is there anybody lurking who can comment on the big 9-0 win by Townsend Park over Surrey U.
Did TP pick up some players or was Surrey U missing some of their players.

What a way to break out of a winless slump!

My predictions for Week 5 will come later this week.

week 4

Skytrain 4 for 5

Did not expect tie in Delta game.

T-Park? How did these guys find the back of the net so many times? Big win. Going to give them confidence for this week.

yoda,

Excuses are like assholes, everyones got one! Until GEU realizes 'you the man' and call you to the big show, GEU will continue on a down hill slide.

Bertrum,

defeat has made you silent. Feelings hurt?

Peach Arch

So it's back to reality for the ultra squad and it's supporters...it was nice way up there.....the view was spectacular....but now it going to be a stuggle pulling back into the lead......peach arch was good...but geu was the better side......poco should take care of them as welll.......as we all know and saw this weekend...anything can happen....hangovers can make the great seem decent!!!
what about the 9-0 stomping townsend threw down on surrey...dammm
alouette could only create 3 goals against aldergrove...jesus...poor goons.
poco with a strong showing against surrey...4-0...it's too bad geu and poco play so late in the season...but it just might make for a spectacular finish to a great year for fraser valley..
peace out

GEU 0 PA 1 explanation

What happened on the weekend? Well GEU stunk up the joint, plain and simple. The ref was shocking no doubt. 7 yellows to 0 plus one at the end? Come on. Any reasonable person that see' this would concur that the card allocation was misappropriated. However, on the positive side we are all fired up now and Surry better expect an ass-woopin' because knowing the lads we are going to prove that last week was just a blip on the radar screen. PA played a different game than any other team holding it up for support and we could not establish that. We had soem quality chances in the first 15mins especially Porn Star but no result. Looking to impress on the Thanksgiving day weekend and to feast on bunch of Surrey turkeys. Prediction: GEU 5 Surrey 1.

Week 5 Predictions

Predictions for this coming weekend

Delta Metro United 2 v Townsend Park Rangers 2 - TP playing better, but it's hard to beat Delta on Friday nights at their home park

GEU Ultra 3 v Surrey City Pegasus 1- Both teams want to come back strong after a loss but only GEU has the horses to pull out a win.

Aldergrove United 1 v Peace Arch United 4- Peace arch just too strong for Aldergrove.

GN Sporting Club2 v Alouette U Razorbacks 3- GN will make this a close game, but aren't strong enough for Alouette

Poco City Dominion 3 v Surrey United 1 @ Erma Stephenson- Where the hell is Erma Stephenson park. Anybody who can post an address or directions, it would be appreciated.

week five

Well weekend shortley approaching, Sliver beat me to the post, but here are this weeks top picks

Delta 2 - TP 1, Delta to pull out a win, they are due for win and their home pitch, night game advantage

GEU 3 - Surrey peg 2, close game but GEU to pull out some horseshoes out and pull out the win

Alder 1 - PA 4 , will not be a pretty game, gave Aldergrove 1 goal, PA to be to play with the ball in the back and error to happen, b/c they are bored

GN 1 - Razor 1, Going to be close, Razor not to win as they have been struggling to put things together

PoCo 5 - Surrey 0, Size and skill to win game for PoCo over the girls from Surrey
