Current Standings After Week 3 games:

  1. Peace Arch FC 6
  2. South Delta FC 6
  3. Poco Castilians FC 6
  4. Delta United FC 6
  5. Mission FC 3
  6. Peace Arch United 3
  7. North Delta Alumni 3
  8. GEU Thunder 3
  9. Aldergrove United 3
  10. LUFC Athletics 3
  11. White Rock United 3
  12. LUFC All Blacks 0
  13. Sikh Temple United 0
  14. Abbotsford Brickmen FC 0
  15. Peace Arch Rangers 0
  16. Surrey Heat 0
Last Weeks Results:

Mission FC 6 - LUFC Athletics 0
LUFC All Blacks 3 - Delta United 4
North Delta Utd Alumni 2 - Abbotsford Brickmen FC 1
South Delta FC 2 - Peace Arch Utd 1
Poco Castilians FC 4 - Aldergrove Utd 2
Peace Arch Rangers 0 - GEU Thunder 4
Peace Arch FC 4 - Surrey Heat 0
White Rock Utd 3 - Sikh Temple Utd 1

This Weeks Matchups:

Delta United vs Aldergrove
This will be a tough matchup. Aldergrove although seemingly older are quite skilled and can sting you very quickly. Delta will be looking to keep their win streak alive but with two games against weaker teams this may prove to be a tough test. Aldergrove 3 -1

North Delta Alum vs LUFC All Blacks
With Possibly just a first week hiccup against what appeared to be a strong week 1 LUFC Athletic, Alumni will take this one easily NDUA 4 - 0

Mission vs Abbotsford Brickmen

Brickmen have yet to win this season and with this weeks game against Mission, it appears that losing streak will continue. 5 - 0 Mission

LUFC Athletics vs Poco Castilians
MOTW: Which LUFC Athletic Team will show this week? Who knows but as usual Poco will have a depleted lineup as they do every week, and will have to juggle the lineup to fill the holes from those key players. Poco 2-0

Sikh Temple vs GEU

Don't know much about these two teams but with 8 goals against for Sikh and 0 goals against for GEU, it appears the weak link is the Sikh defense. I'll pick GEU in a nailbiter 1-0

South Delta vs White Rock
South Delta with a 2-0 record looks to be favoured, however week 1's 6-nil drubbing of Surrey doesn't really show how good they are, if at all. This could be a "heated" battle. White Rock 2-1

Peace Arch FC vs Peace Arch United
2 of the 3 PAU teams matchup in this one and FC is on a scoring frenzy with 5 and 4 goals in weeks 1 and 2 respectively. Don't think United can hold them off the scoresheet. 3-2 FC

Surrey Heat vs Peace Arch Rangers

The only thing seperating these two teams at the bottom of the standings is that PA Rangers have actually scored a goal this season. Neither team will hit the broad side of a barn in this one. 0-0 tie.

There will be several blow-outs this weekend.

There are 3 Peace Arch teams and 1 White Rock team, that is a lot of retiress out that way.

Bored, should we get you a table ready at bingo? Those will be the only numbers not moving in front of you when you come "out this way !"

The "W" column for White Rock will be another number not changing this weekend.

Would love to see who the two starting keepers are in the BIG PAU Darby on Sunday Morning?
Come on you PAU FC or is it Blue?
SirM, come see the best pitch in BC, SSAP#8.

Kenny Laity will be joining Mission in the near so look the fcuk out! I don't think he has touhed a ball in like 3-4 years and will still be the best player out there.

Jason Hampton did a good job in the middle last week. Remember playing against him when he was w/ GEU...controlled the middle well, very good conduit. Ball comes in and it is out to the right option before you get a chance to close down.

Adding Laity will add even more attacking options through the middle.

I'd just put Laity up front as against average or slower players he makes you look silly. He also has a nose for the net but tends to like full sprints from the back line all the way to the other net so who knows???

Mission's biggest problem is they have too many players. Unless half of them don't see the pitch they will lose against good teams. It interrupts their flow and their bench is a lot weaker than the players on the field. If you shutdown their tall striker and their stocky center midfielder, they don't have much else going forward.

Ok. What happened to PAU White and PAU Blue? What are North Delta United called now? Are the All Blacks of Langley a different team now, have they merged, or...? I believe the Surrey FC Rangers kind of broke backmountain up, but which FVSL side houses the most of the remaining players in the FVSL now, or are they spread all over?

Thanks, in advance, for any information anyone can provide..

Sir M. :)

Well, as far as LUFC Althletics and LUFC All-Blacks, two different teams, same club. Sort of as the standings suggest. LUFC Athletic is a new team to Masters.

Laity will be a good addition but he can get caught up field and may cause them some defensive issues. Oh, who am i kidding, it won't change a fcking thing cuz the other 10 are quite capable of covering is ass.

Nice pickup Mission

dearest sir M,
okay in my absence and walk about over the last two three years? Peace Arch gathered about 70 - 80 players because they didn't want to turn anybody away. they are very religious out in those parts. so the powers that be divided the teams up and sent them out into the FVSL to run amuck kick, punch, bite, moan, etc... thus 4 teams and counting...you should see the training session on wednesday night! outstanding 40 - 50 guys half a turf field...magic!
