BC United 2 Aldergrove 2 - Thought we should have picked up the 3 points here. We had more scoring chances, just couldn't finish them, and Aldergrove's two goals were two breakaway gifts due to miscommunication in the back. Just one of those games, could attribute it to the grass, early Kickoff, or the field in the middle of nowhere by the border. Anyways, a point is better than nothing and glad to have gotten the two furthest games of the season out of the way. Looking forward to the rematch at Hjorth.

What I requoted here sounds just like out encounter with them... let them stay around and they'll nab a point. Cantuzzi's guys were very disciplined when we played them.
The field etc is just an excuse, two teams had to play on it you know

Yeah, they did the basics well and pounced on any mistakes which happened. It was the simplest of goals too, a simple through ball for both goals, both buried low corner. Jeez it was maddening to watch on the sidelines. If you switch off against them, they got enough to score. But I think most teams in Div.2 have that quality.

True, but they were more use to it. And the grass was a bit long, so the ball stopped dead quicker in some places, and passes needed a little more power in them, and so on. Anyways, takes a while to get use to it initially, especially when your use to playing on turf.
