More cut & paste for you, Dap.

I heard this morning he'll be getting about 3.5per for 3 years. Not bad I suppose, but a bit undervalue for a top line center who helped combine for the second or third most points (for a line) in the NHL innit?

I wonder if he went anywhere else he would have got Aucoin type money. I still can't believe he'll be getting 4 mill per/

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Center Brendan Morrison, part of one of the NHL's top lines the last three seasons, signed a three-year contract Friday with the Vancouver Canucks.

Morrison, a 29-year-old restricted free agent, was Vancouver's second-leading scorer with 60 points during the 2003-04 season. He played on a line that also featured recently re-signed captain Markus Naslund and currently suspended forward Todd Bertuzzi.

"Brendan has grown as a player and proven himself to be one of the premier centers in the league during his tenure with the Canucks," general manager Dave Nonis said.

Morrison, who grew up in suburban Vancouver, has played in 348 straight NHL games -- the first eight with New Jersey before being traded to the Canucks on March 15, 2000, along with Denis Pederson for Alexander Mogilny.

A former Hobey Baker Award winner as the top player in U.S. college hockey, Morrison has 111 goals and 342 points in 471 regular-season NHL games. He played for Linkoping in the Swedish Elite League during the NHL lockout, finishing sixth in league scoring with 44 points.
