20 million for one guy to go away, and can't give away the other. you gave up the 9th overall pick and a 2nd rounder for those two guys. Maybe it's time to slow the roll on going for it?

I love the pundits saying that the cap will be way up in years 5-8 so the 2.1 million extra hit doesnt really matter... even if that's true it's true for all franchises so actually yeah, it does matter...

Draft done, free agency started and looks like Canucks have done solid and reasonable pickups... 4 so far that I've seen. In other news, Panthers signed OEL 1 yr for 2.5M or something close to that :eek:
