If he's gonna be hanging with Cruise then I've lost all respect for him... the guy has turned out to be a flake with this new religion... christ he even gave Oprah a bloody couch dance?
Here is a story about DB calling up a very ill teenaged soccer player in Ontarion who is a big fan...(Her name is Brenda, but her nickname on the field was 'BeccaM'), who is battling cancer and not doing very well at present. Beckham called her from Madrid at home, spoke to her, said he liked her nickname, and asked her if he could do anything to cheer her up. She said no, his call meant everything to her, and that was enough. Then a few days later, unsolicited, an autographed get well soon authentic Real Madrid # 23 jersey arrived at Rebecca's house. She eventually will have it framed and mounted, but for now she just wants to hold it as it comforts her. Brenda's goal is to get well enough to travel with her father at some point to personally thank David Beckham for what he did.
This type of heart felt behaviour is nothing new to David Beckham, but unfortunately only everything percieved as negative surrounding the guy is splashed all over the headlines... The man is a great embassador for the sport and doesn't get much credit for his random acts of kindness which doesn't usually make front page news...
Although, because he changes his hair style more than Dude changes his nickers to many haters don't rate the guy...
Ask Greece how they felt after WC qualifying just over a year ago!!!
Fox sports world just reported that this young girl passed away last night!
Her family said that Beckham's call was a dream come true for her. They said his call also brought in all sorts of support from throughout the world. But she couldn't fight of the cancer.
Well done to Becks, made someone happy in their last day's.
