Anyone have any suggestions to good sports (soccer) related books? I know there are several but can't recall the names. I need to fill out my Christmas list.

I read Bobby Knights book this summer in between pints and choked on the Americana spewing from it. It was Rather sickening to be honest. The book, not the pints.

Didn't Roy Keane have a book?

Not really soccer, but a good read. And you will probably choke, but from laughing.

And a different form of footy, but nevertheless one of the most inspiring books I've ever read.

I have read both Jimothy and Oranje's recommendations and they are more than worth the read for footy interested people, in fact your guys stores should carry those books. The Declan Hill one ruined watching Internationals and second rate league games for quite a while...

another one I enjoyed was the Brian Clough biography: Cloughie, Walking on Water.

very interesting and lots of great stories.

Not a soccer book but I got a 12 month subscription to Four Four Two magazine for christmas last year. Probably one of the best gifts I have ever gotten as it was a surprise, and is much cheaper then the $13-15 in stores. Best soccer magazine out in my opinion.

KVNB i think you should read the FIFA Laws of the Game, so you know what your arguing about. Not that its going to sink into your thick skull, but there is still hope. (not)
