Interesting that Whitecaps opted for Ken Woods over UBC South Turf, which afaik is the primary field they use for academy and is directly adjacent to the National Soccer Development Centre.

I will give it a try. If it turns out that most VMSL and Valley teams could beat these teams, then I will not be out much after that.

I will go and check it out. Hopefully its run well and it gives players further chance
to develop. Young players
will have a chance to further work on their game in a competitive league. It needs to be much better than VMSL Prem to carry on And gain more momentum.

Much better?

That's asking a lot. How do you figure it can be "much better"? The type of player the league is looking for are not the top players in the Lower Mainland. They may one day be, but largely, these are U23 kids, some who may be able to step right into a VMSL match and make an impact, but suspect most would currently be on the bench, or knocking on the door.

I do feel it will be different. Likely faster paced, a bit of a track meet, but you will not be seeing players there pulling off a @Regs style move.

TSS signs their first 2 and both are no where near U23 anymore. Already the preseason favorites with Edwardson and MacMillan (first ever player/owner) in the fold!

Have to think Highlanders are disappointed with how their season went. They came in as one of the few "established" clubs with PDL/USL2 experience, and then end up with the wooden spoon.
