I tell you though, when you go elsewhere to play against foreign O-40/50 teams...there isn't a "lot" of competition: when we first headed down to Peru to play in a tourney down there, I don't know what we were expecting but it wasn't to be up 5-0 at the half. Other nations seem to grow guts as an O-40 past-time while here we are still balls to the wall going a couple of times a week competitively, staying somewhat fit as a result.
Speaking in sweeping generalities here, but what I mean is Canada competes internationally 7-13, then a big gap, and then we're back in it again in the O-35+ age groups.
