With the 2005/2006 NCAA Season starting tommorow, who do you think will be the team to beat, the team that should be good but will be a huge bust....

Duke is #1 (Ya baby ya!!) in some polls. Is there another better team out there??

The first big match up the year saw #1 Duke vs @#2 Texas. Duke blew out texax by 31... or something like that. J.J. Redick had 41 pts for the blue devils.

Texas falls 5 spots to #6 after the loss, while duke remains at #1.

UNC is not in the preseason poll because their starting line up from last year was drafted in the first round. They have had some good wins and will factor in as always. As a UNC fan I hate to admit it but Duke seems the class of the nation. Sometimes I wonder what College b-ball would be like with James playing in it along with others who left early or never went. Kind of scary to think about.

Yah, and UNC were humped tonight by an average USC team which cost me a treble. ****ers.


I'm calling a HUGE surprise this year in terms of the National Champion...........As time gets closer, I will unveil it....:)


BTW, BJB, I thought you were a Notre Dame fan? Now you're a Duke fan too? Are you a Cal-State Fullerton fan during baseball season. :D ;)

ND is my fav. university, but i've cheered for Duke in basketball since i was in GR 8.... mainly got hooked cuz a good buddy of mine is a huge fan and i started to follow them as well. Way back!! :wa: :knvb: :bronco:

What bout washington?? on a lil role aren't they.

Upset weekend for the Top 25.... Duke still on top and recieved all 72 first place votes and got a perfect score of 1800 points. Washington got their 2nd loss of the year against Wash. st., Cincy moves into the top 25.

And then there were none.... All 3 undefeated teams go down on saturday. Duke losing to Georgetown, Florida losing to Tennessee, and Pittsburgh losing to St. Johns.

New standings are out, and with Duke's first loss, UCONN moves into top spot.

FSU at home upsets #1 Duke.... Final weekend of play happens before the divisional finals..... Duke and North Carolina get bye's in the ACC....

I'm happy Duke lost now, i rather see them lose now that in the final 64.... only a couple of weeks till March Madness begins!!!
