Knights vs Celtic gonna be a "david's vs goliaths" match, literally. Tough physical match on the grass under the lights, I can't wait to be honest, gonna be a battle out at Albion.

not sure on who to take for the Burnaby vs Titans game, but id love to know what is going on with this BBY team. Last week got Dynamo to come to them cause they can't field a team if they play away so they play in Burnaby, now they're home again but in Cloverdale. WTF is going on, this is an absolute joke. Hoping for a Titan win.

Knights vs Celtic cancelled after the Knights said the field was un playable (which it 100% is playable and had practices on it last night) Knights missing some players this weekend due to a stag but instead of playing with who they had they decided to cancel the game, what a fcuking joke. Absolutely sick of teams pulling bullshit reasons not to play and wasting everybody's time. 2 games in 4 weeks, this is fcuking horseshit. .

They should have a league rep come and assess field conditions. I was by their not even a hour ago and field look great...

Our coach just walked the field. It's in excellent condition. Shady fcuking move by the knights. See if there is anything the league can do since they have already said they might not be able to field a team. 2 stunts in 4 weeks for teams we are auppose to play, would be nice if they helped us out a bit.

So our game was on an hour before kickoff. They called up six players to have more players than us. 4 of our guys were in vancouver and Ladner couldn't make it in time for the game. Bullshit stunt by tbl for the win. Burnaby metro esque. Now feeling langleys pain

4-0 final, as fat rabbit said we were left with low numbers after the cancellation and then "oh games back on" and luckily got 11 to show, few guys were hurt and they took full advantage, and on the night we just didn't have it,but those nights happen, what can you do I guess. Good job to the lads who could make it out and not give up. Leaves an awful taste in your mouth when stunts like this are pulled that's for sure. Time to move on to Sparta next week, if we feel like playing, our pitch may not be suitable. #sourgrapes

Unreal. What looked to be a promising and competitive season is now looking like a complete joke. I know a few guys from a Westcoast Div4 team (won't name specifics) who mentioned that their entire team was asked about who was able to come out and help play with the Knights tonight. Tough luck Cascade/Rabbit but I know your team has always had class, kudos to those who were able to make it out last minute.

Cheers Mj9. Only 5 guys from the knights were actually there,4 played. Some of the inter players (div1) who signed div 4 played up and played really well tonight. Some good call ups that's for sure. One scored a rocket, great finish. Hopefully this is the last of forfeit, field change, game off/on garbage and we can get back to a competitive season with no asterisks. At the end of the night a wins a win no matter how ugly you get it. Time to get back on track vs a good Sparta squad. CascadeIsGoingToBePissedOffForMonths.......PissShiteFack...TimeForBed.

The surprising thing is that this incident happened between two westcoast teams... At least bby pulled that shite on Langley but guys that pull these kind of stunts on teams from their own club really have the " club comes first" mentality

Knights tried to call game off total bullshite by team manager say field was closed .
Someone in that club should tear a strip off the person in charge of that team for that crap.
Who's the guy overseeing all the men's teams in that club?
That shouldn't be happening with Proper communication.

4:15 we had a full squad. Game cancelled. 6:15 game put back on we got everyone we could to make it to the game. Unfortunately for us we don't have a lot of players that live close to the field, the knights (including call ups) do. We had 11 they had 13. Pretty fcuked up to try cancelling a game when you can get 13 guys. Most of which are signed down but play for our div 1 team.

Pretty sure it's in our club rules that inner club games ur only allowed to call up to 11 guys.

A loss is a loss tho. If there is ever a reality show "who can put a team together in under an hour" we won't be winning any time soon. Now I have all week to be embarrassed about playing for this club and this league, 4 weeks in and we haven't had a non controversial week in our division.

Call up 11? You mean 11 permits? League rule is 7 permits (CFC learned that rule pretty harshly this year!).

It seems each situation in FVSL is treated uniquely by the league - not surprised you guys are experiencing weekly issues. Seems the approach "easier to ask forgiveness than permission" is supported in FVSL.

Ok ok pretty sure if you guys won they're wouldn't be all this talk about poor us, this league sucks!!! Wasn't it your coach that went to the field and called Thomas saying the field is playable and wanted the game to be on???????? You're a maple ridge/Pitt meadows team and we played in ridge not the other teams problem that you have players that live an hour away!! It was a competitive game you guys just didnt get the bounces. you guys thought it was a sure win and that's you're fault now you can learn from your mistakes. Can't wait to play again.

Actually it was thomas who called your players (nez) and said why is your coach trying to call the game because the field and lack of players and your player said I don't know we're only missing a few guys (guys on the stag) and we had a full team before the cancelation,but when guys live downtown and ladner and are told they have to make it to a field in 40 minutes, after they were already told no game, makes it quite difficult. Clubbin you know we didn't think it was an easy win as I talked to you before game and said we were missing lots of guys now because of the incident. The main fact is it sucks that our team couldn't be there cause of a shady call, but you have to play with who you have on the day, and we had a good 11 but we just didn't play well, everything that could go wrong went wrong and the other team was better on the night,and we lost points. These nights are few and far between for us and let's hope it's the last of them for the year. What's done is done and another week is ahead of us. good luck next week vs Dynamo. See you in December.
