Alright Carol Baskin, I feel like this is a long winded, 1 episode series turned into 10 episodes for the sake of sucking people in to follow along when we all know what’s happening all along. The Tiger King gets taken down and it’s all a he said she said story from episode 1 to 10.
I feel like the Berada saga might end sooner.

This document is an important confession sent to VMSL from Robert Freedman that he, Derrick and Coach Blaise Nkufo were the ones running the management of Rinos Tigers. while others from the old Tigers team were not decision makers or important. I guess that makes him responsible as the president for any wrong doing or illegal activity in his club , especially if he knows about it, Does everyone agree , shall we proceed?

The Freedmans had an offer they could not refuse in 2015 when the Tigers manager( best team in Div 1 at that time, the team that got the promotion to premier that year) offered them the premier spot. For them, having a spot in premier for free was too good to be true. a spot they would never earn in 20 years. The Tigers players and other managers were not actually happy. after all, the Freedmans were the most aggressive people against the Tigers every where accusing them of poaching and paying players. for the Tigers president, all that was just soccer rivalry because Rinos were always beaten by the Tigers and he looked at the geographical location and the adjacent fields as a more important factor
The Tigers could have sold the spot like what other teams do, in fact Columbus indicated their wish to do so that year when they relegated but he chose Rinos to give the spot as he was going to be away from Vancouver for work. the only condition of the Tigers was to play with the identity of the team even with ( transfer of power to the freedamas)

It was around that time that a big european name moved to Vancouver and started an academy and was looking for a good team to partner with to play his good players. He met with the Tigers president who later introduced him to the Freedman and an agreement was made to coach Rinos new prem team in exchange of giving his players the chance to play.

the Tigers manager promised to help Rinos with team registration and jerseys and left the country. later the shocking truth became obvious that this ( world class coach), does not really care about amateur soccer or winning. all his attention was to get his 14 and 15 year old academy kids to play and make all the mistakes they want, in fact, he would go mad if his players clear dangerous balls in danger zones as he saw that as a sign of poor development. he also benched many older players to play his players . the older players were already mad about the whole transition to a club that has poor management (who almost never came to practice) and now, poor coaching. in no time, the senior players left and the team became the joke of the premier division that year ( only 1 point at the end of the season, probably VMSL worst record). what made things even more difficult that the coach looked at others who gave advice as amateurs who knew nothing about soccer, all what he kept talking about was how many passes his kids made even if the games ended up with 4 or 5 goals loss

The Freedmans went crazy, the dream of keeping the spot in premier is flying away after all the losses, they had no one to listen to their complaints except the Tigers president who was overseas

The team relegated with the worst record , and here we begin the transformation process of the Freedmans

they figured out they don’t have the management skills to attract players who are high level to survive the higher levels , they found themselves stuck with 3 teams in Division 1. They wanted to get one back again to premier

given that they failed all those years to make any of their teams promote , they sought help from the old Tigers management but this time , they had no problems to change everything they ( pretended ) to believe in , they had to think outside the box this time

It was not a secret that the Tigers president was a nice guy and he helped many of his players even with schooling , he even bought a 15 passengers van to transport the team to far games , he helped guys move to Canada , some are big coaches . For him that was a belief he had , help them as young brothers. For Rinos , those behaviors were considered criminal activities before working with him . For the 2016 -2017, there was no question by the Freedmans how all those good players came back or joined despite the horrible reputation that happened in 2015 season . So basically , it was implicit approval of what they used to fight

but wait , things are going to be more explicit after the promotion again to premier

Next semester , the Freedmans started to take more “courage “ in asking about all the incentives that makes the players stick in “their team” , again they never wanted to stop it as now they started to be good match with the big boys

The team came 6th place in the first year back in premier , now the Freedmans are more hungry for achievements , they are now proactive in poaching and recruitment

The team came 3rd place and won Imperial cup . Now it’s difficult to stop . The Freedmans are part of the big boys now
