Mac Island pitches were gorgeous as always. Noticed a nice, lush new super 8 (?) field on the west side of #1 that would have been about the right size for my old legs in this ridiculous heat. Didn't play at the Singh Bowl this year, and I noticed that there weren't any games at Norkam either - it looks a bit too dry for field porn. Gotta tell you it was a real letdown to go from Mac Island yesterday to the stubble farm (with ludicrous red lines) at Quilchena tonight...
