There are no real "classics" like 2001 England vs. Scotland or Germany vs Ireland, but the game of the first round has to be:

Ireland/Italy. Too bad it is the 1st game of the tournament. That would have been a classic game 2 or 3.

Other Notables:

Scotland/India/Canada matchups. Scotland looks strong. Canada has some key additions that will help. Darby (Pinks), as well as Steve Lake (Trollips). India is young but talented. Not in Scotlands class, but their speed will give Scotland problems.

England/Fiji. Will that fcuk head Ivor play? The big Fijian crowd will make this one interesting.

China's Game 1. Full of big hopes.....10-0 again:D

There are other games that will be good to watch like the portugal vs Germany game I have been training with the guys on Portugal and they should be able to put up a good fight.
That should be the match that decides the winner of the group unless africa or first nations have some tricks up their sleeves.
