Well, we FINALLY have a our first make up game booked...and hopefully, no more cancellations!! Tuesday, Jan 10th @ 8pm...BBY Lake Turf #1

Vancouver Jaguars vs. Vancouver Vixens

Should be a good Goaltender battle as both keepers are quite good...lotsa skill on both ends, so hopefully,Jaguars can come out with a win and start to creep up in the standings where we belong.

However, once the festivities are past, they will be working hard to win a few more games and move up in the standings.

I do hope this will be the focus for the rest of your season

We are sure their opponents would not recognize them in their party clothes

We tied the Vixens tonight...yours truly capitalizing on a PK to tie it with 15 mins left. Good battle!

Next Game...Richmond Rumble...Brighouse School...9:15am in the mornin'...SHITE

I haven't received any calls to ref or line, so I'm guessing no action will be taking place for the MWSL. 4 Weeks 'til the vacation in the sun ...

So are we Striker. Now we are 3 games behind also. Was suppose to play Spazz today but fields are Shite, except Turf. We need more in Vancouver. On to next week then.

In our dreams
I can't imagine if this rain continue that we'll play until at least February...that's when Cup begins and all the make up games are forgotten...but, on one hand, I do feel for the scheduler because it's not like they have to cover a few games...they have to figure out an entire LEAGUE pretty much...fields are rare...and if they are available, do you think us chickies are gonna get em'...

Next week we play in Delta, so I am crossing my fingers and toes that we play!

Vancouver Jaguars 1 Delta Rangers 1

Good hard battle this one was...phew!

We went up 1 nil on a nice feed from Rosy to yours truly in the first or second minute of the 1st half...their defender tried to runa pick on me...puttin' her "back into it" as the song goes...I end up just runnin' right over her, take it in, and I pick it bottom right corner...just barely squeaking in!

They score on a miscommunication by our defense, or what we like to call, a brain fart...so the half ends 1-1

Lots of chances for the Jag's in the 2nd half, but we just couldn't get our feet on it.

The Rangers, in the last 5 mins. have 4 of their players in our 6 yard box...1 of their girls gets a shot off, but our goalie...STEPH THE WALL, gets big and makes a HUUUUUGE save!! Game ends in a 1-1 draw

Next game...Sunday, Jan 29th (make up) vs. Breakers

VANCOUVER JAGUARS 1 CROATIA 0

Well...the game ended 0-0, and we won it in PK's

We had 10 shooters and 6 hit the back of the net, 1 more than the Croat's...WOO HOO!!

Great battle by both teams...there were yellow cards (yours truly getting 1 of em')...there were bodies hittin' the floor...and the Jag's had 90% of the play in the Croat end...we should have had a few goals, but for some reason, they were all headed right into the Keep's hands!!

Quote of the game:

"I can smell you..." - Referee

I asked him, "you can smell me?" and I got yellow carded. I think the language barrier might have had a bit o' something to do with it...

Anyways...we win the 1st game of the RR...onto the next feeding

Vancouver Jaguars 5 GFC Whalley 0

Game was defaulted by GFC Whalley. Referee was "suggesting" we don't play, but both teams agreed to take the responsibility if there is an injury, so GAME ON...

GFC Captain came over 10 mins later and said "take the points, we don't wanna play, we can't risk any injuries" OK!!!!
Onto the sidelines in FREEZING cold weather...beers in hand

WHY CAN'T WE SCORE?!!

Good game for both teams...but we, the Jag's, just can't seem to find our feet when it comes to sinkin' em'!!

This was a make up game...not too much to report...not many chances from either team, but well played in the middle of the field!

Next Game...CUP GAME...not sure who against yet, but I. personally, won't be there as I will be in VEGAS BABY!!!!
