On any given Wednesday...
I was impressed with WFC2 actually.
They way they moved the ball was fast and pretty to watch with consistent deadly crosses whipped into the box.
In general they have some real quality players but a couple of them leaves you thinking - Really?
Like their 2nd keeper...
I thought Marco Bustos was fantastic.
And I love the looks of David Norman.
Man, he's grown like 4 inches since I saw him last play and looks like a Ballack/Effenberg kind of player out there.
Tall with a bit of pace, always asking for the ball, creating space and giving his teammates options, who's that box to box kind of guy.
It goes to show that with a lot of hard work, cohesiveness, an executed game plan, and a bit of the rub of the green seeing as its St. Patricks time, things can go your way.
The All-Stars defending was excellent.
Connor looked like he belonged out there and Sean's goal was one of those smelling blood kind of instances where he went at that keeper hard after his blunder and it paid off.
He was fcuking awesome out there too.
What a cracking finish that was - Top class.
Congrats to KNVB, Utah, Thomas and the rest of the FVSL crew - Well done.
