Regsi, head injuries are very serious. Most people's first reaction is to get up and walk around in a shocked state. (which was this case). I believe delays like internal bleeding and concusions can kill you , which is a damn shame.

Not to mention that this is a freak accident, kind of like my friend that was just killed under the Burrard street bridge and found in a tree a couple of days ago.:(

Yes, I heard today. Very sad. I think they were saying that this is the first time in recorded history that a fan has died at a hockey game after being hit by a puck! I would think she must have hemorrhaged afterwards or something.

Apparently it was the girl’s birthday present too…her Dad took her. Fcuk- that hurts. I hope the Blue Jackets do a little ceremony to acknowledge the girl’s early passing (without accepting blame- after all, it was a freak accident) I also hope the fans out there realize that this is NOT normal.
