Vancouver Canucks - News: Canucks sign defenceman Alex Edler to a four-year extension - 10/10/2008

Nice. He was due to be a RFA this offseason, by locking him up now they don't have to pay him anymore if he plays stronger than he has been already.

I still say Bieksa is trade bait once the Sundin fiasco is over.

Very nice indeed, I think the Sundin fiasco is over, he won't be of any help, look at the Ducks when Selanne and Niedermayer came back half way through a season. It took them too long to get up to speed. I say screw him, let him muck up TO.
