WFC open up their last year outside MLS, in the "USSF D-2/NASL" on Sunday vs NSC Minnesota.
Looks like Marcus Haber is coming back to WFC on loan from the Baggies.
WFC have signed a ton of new players and actually have some depth on the back line for this year.
On paper the Caps should thrash Minny on Sunday... Their team is still putting their pieces together for this season.
Game is at 4pm.
For those going, and wondering about the Southsiders supporters, the Southsiders are having a pre-match tailgate bbq in the park just at the Southeast corner of the East parking lot at Swangard, starting at 1pm.
The Southsiders are the only real loud organized group of supporters currently at the matches. The numbers of real organized SS'ers sits at or around 60-100 people with the Southend having anywhere between 200-400 people in it for the games. The SS'ers are bigger, in numbers, and more organized than the ECS (Emerald City Supporters) at this current point in time vs where they were in their wait for MLS, and that group is now at over 1800 fully paid members.
As far as the team this year WFC look to have a pretty good mix of young and old. The Province's goal section today is big with a lot of info on WFC and player info etc.
