I know they are doing a huge promotion with youth soccer on Sunday. I would guess it’s going to be a packed house. Cascadia spring youth league has 500 tickets to give away and they were instantly gone, they are now trying to secure more.

Did a stadium walk-through this morning, this place is going to be rocking! Not a finished product by any stretch but good enough to be set for a great time for all going.

For those wondering, originally there was to be a roof structure but the township cut it at this time (as well as dressing rooms under the main stands on the west side of the pitch).

I see tickets are sold out. I had planned on being at the abby Canucks game so I'm late to the party. Regs how does the stadium work with the GA behind the goals. Will I be able to just walk up and buy tickets. Not sure what the lay out looks like.

Yeah, seeing the photos now and some of the highlights, the East stand def looked sketchy - I think that is more-or-less because the East side is for VIP and club-bought tickets? Tonnes of young kids milling about through-out the stadium, I wouldn't be surprised if some never went to their seats.

I was on that side for the whole game facing back across to the main stand and there were pockets of empty seats there too but definitely not as sparse as the pics of the aforementioned east side.

Difficult for me to really say as my attention for the majority of the match was focused on a set schedule as the away team liaison, but when I was able to take in some of the experience at field level, it certainly felt like a big occasion - loud, people engaged in the action and a cool energy that could be felt.

Saw many old faces and had the chance to chat with quite a few, loved the whole experience.

On the match itself, just quickly - the red was a brutal call. Felt really bad for Rocco who is a great kid (they all are to be honest)... he was devastated. That the team managed to get a point out of it speaks volumes, almost as loud as a Thomo "fackin 'ell" shout
