Not entirely sure how the FVSL 5 seed is going to play out. Surrey currently holds down that spot in their league standings but Micro footie can mathematically still catch them... 6 points back with a game in hand. Slurrey vs Micro scheduled for tomorrow night, a point for Slurrey and they are in.

But if Micro pulls off 3 points there, they would be 3 back, and have a final league match to play vs Langley which is currently unscheduled.

All means nothing of course if Slurrey wins but there's a scenario to play out here otherwise that doesn't seem to have a great solution? Langley plays Round of 16 on Saturday - no way they would play a league game the night before and a Thursday match would mean Micro plays 2 days in a row. Even if got the game in and Micro pulled off another upset, would that not mean a playoff needed between Micro and Slurrey BEFORE Sunday?

I'm went with the favourites in most matches. For the tight ones/upsets, I picked:

AFA Royals for the upset just because of the turmoil in the Inter camp, but in reality Inter should have more than enough quality to see them through that one.

Vicwest over CMF based on current form and travel.

Okanagan over FVSL Mystery team because of travel, and those teams are both pretty weak.

As this stands, they might be gassed for the match on Saturday

Abby and Whitecaps isn't the real issue here though (other than the Friday night match needs to be canceled/postponed)... though contradicts my earlier stance on the need to do a 6 pointer on that game... fcuking BC Soccer has me in fits, I swear.

It's the other end of the table that's tragic. All moot of course if Slurrey does the business tomorrow night.

its not a technically 6 pointer but a league game and sc cup semi final. the last league game will be april 7th if it needs to be played. Abby must win tonight then tigers lose to whtcaps thursday for that to matter and chance at the title.

Assuming that's correct, is the Abby vs Langley R16 match going to be played mid-week?

If Micro Footie pulls off the upset and that pulls them even with Slurrey, would a playoff happen also mid-week and the winner would travel to the Okanagan NEXT weekend (assuming Okanagan has agreed as well as I guess BC Soccer)?
