The eCPL Own The North EA Sports FIFA 21 tournament presented by New Era will come to a head Wednesday with the Playstation 4 finals pegged for (7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT) at twitch.tv/ecpl and twitter.com/cplsoccer. The field is led by Agit Katilmis, also known as AgitPower, who represents Atlético Ottawa. AgitPower is the top-ranked Canadian EA Sports FIFA 21 player (4th overall in North America) and was recently picked to represent Canada Soccer in the FIFAe Nations Cup Online Qualifiers alongside Nawid Noozai, also known as GoalMachine, who won the Xbox eCPL title last week. The quarterfinals will kickoff at 7 p.m. ET with four tilts; Katilmis vs. Alex Largerie (HFX Wanderers FC), Faysal Younes (Forge FC) vs. Ahmed Jamal (York United), Joshua Esteves (FC Edmonton) vs. Jimi Ogunsanya (Cavalry FC), and Arash Davari (Pacific FC) vs. Matteo Bozzetto (Valour FC). The winner of Wednesday’s final will win $2,000 CAD and the right to represent Canada at the North America Playoffs on the road to the FIFA eWorld Cup. Last week, GoalMachine captured the Xbox title after beating real-life Cavalry FC professional Jose Hernandez in the final.
