This housing market is insane. Property taxes hitting up to 60k a year alone. A 1.2 million tear down in the heart of the city, has had property taxes up to 25k. We're pricing ourselves out of living in our main city. What the hell do these people do for a living.

Holy shite - HUGE fcuking news!

The place is an institution man.
How many times have you been to that place?
I can assure you many hours and money mis-spent there in my youth...

The Rangers used to train in the gym at Len Shepherd, shower up, and then head over there weekly in the winter months.
We called it the Flamin-O back then and usually made our way over to Pancho & Lefty's after for to look for some raw Surrey talent.
Another iconic Whalley landmark going by the wayside.

Sad days coming, but that is change I guess.

Thanks so much Regs for bringing this little bit of nostalgia to our attention.

Exactly, RF. Having actually had the chance to play Rawhide on stage at Pancho & Lefty's (when all that was missing was the chicken wire) was a rare memory to begin with, and I guess it's now going to be rarer.

We used to stagger from there across the back parking lot to our goalkeeper's place (upstairs from Red Hot Video) after closing time.

I will not miss the Surrey RCMP trying to bust me in the parking lot for putting my own musical gear into the back of my car, however...
