Hello coach,s , i have a talented U12 Boys team [1999 born ] and would like to play friendly games against your Metro or BCPL teams please.
We have a full size grass field on Wed and Fri from 6pm til 8pm . We can also come over and play anywhere in the lower mainland .

Geordie it is summer vacation from soccer and all the teams either have boys at that age in USSL, various academies, playing other sports, taking a break, or are playing in tournaments.

Though you might get a good game v. a 2c side.....?

If you want a match posting here is the last place to look. Start contacting clubs and ask to be directed to the 1999-aged boys coaches for the appropriate level, academies, and/or u12 SYL teams.

I definitely know most of the people involved in Football in the lower mainland check TTP regularly so they are aware that i,m looking for teams to play but I will contact them by email again but i sent some emails last summer and a few made excuses while others didn,t bother replying. I would have thought the likes of Metro Ford , Pitt Meadows , Langley and other big clubs would jump at the chance of a competitive game but i suppose they look down on Surrey teams.

Get a hold of TSS. Their travelling teams are always looking for exhibition games.

And please..."clubs are aways looking down on Surrey teams...." What is that?

I don,t need to shout it out but its quite obvious why teams from Newton don,t get the respect they deserve.
Just an example of what i mean- i havn,t had any U13 coach or team respond by offering to play yet they will pay $400 + to play in tournaments during the summer.
There has also been virtually no response in the USSL topic either !!!!!!!!!

Most teams are not practicing or are letting the kids have time off. I know my son's team is. Relax a little and wait until August.

Yeah, thats just it -most of the USSL teams are from Surrey and Abby with a few from Vancouver . What about the rest of the clubs/players from other areas less than 30mins drive from Surrey who ignore the USSL and are not even interested in playing friendlies against my 99 born boys.

just been to watch the Baker Blast footy tourny in Bellingham today . Some of the teams were pretty weak with big scores in favour of the stronger teams.
Coach,s your boys would get a much more competitive game against my team and u would save the parents money as well.
The academy teams are also welcome to play us .

I was hoping to avoid this subject as Football is a game for all wherever u are from or what colour u are but its sad that in the Football scene in BC it helps if u are white !
