Oddly on the played end, I hated when my club included tried to take players from other good teams. I know you are always trying to strengthen of course. But in the valley, taking a top 4s team best player just means you have no competition anymore. Great we are better but I enjoyed hating him more and battling his team as I hated him.
I know we are talking more about money here but there have always been some degree of it even amongst the lowly valley teams. No registration, free pints. Whatever a team could afford or do.

Players contracts , with the excuse of being managers , sounds legal , right? The problem is how many got those , were they really doing any management , only given for players who will play , so twisted way to give contracts in amateur soccer

Double standards, the Freedmans were so strict with their Div 1 players , each of those poor guys overpayed season fees to keep that bank account full . For their prem team , the treated the players as 5 star resort
