I feel like this strange online relationship is kinda like when you are knocking one out, close your eyes, and switch to your other hand and simulate the stranger. Le Blue est Le Main Gauche.

Was debating that one or Rino's-Richmond, then my Italian neighbours had a big fight and the police arrived en masse and I was so busy watching that I never left the house :D

It was a 2-0 well deserved victory for West Wan. They have top quality players and coaching. I will provide match report later on.
Second goal was a superb finish from a corner kick. First goal was an understandable error from a player who could not come to our first practice, and hence he lost his marker. it was a good finish on their part. I thought that we could have got at least a goal as there was a couple of one on ones that were called offsides but were too close to call.

@Soccer Coach isn't going back to campo kinda like crawling back to the ex wife that fuked the best man at your wedding? I guess you Didnt have much choice after being denied the Madrid Job when Zidane left.

It reminds me of the kid that always got picked last in gym class.

But TBH I if were in your shoes I'd have a hard time turning down that kinda $$$$
I guess....you did not go to Sunday school....
Forgiveness. The ultimate virtue. We have to learn to forgive, as we have to learn to forget, this action, simply will lead our soul to peace. We all do mistakes, we all at some point, pull away our loved ones. Clearly, this isn’t the solution, our Lord did forgive the mankind, for all the torturing, all the suffering, all our actions lead Him in cross and His crucifixion. Let’s open our heart and welcome back everyone who hurt us, without dilemmas and second thoughts, let’s leave everything in past and show the hidden light of our soul to every one of us.

So @Polska, if you really love your wife and girlfriend...you forgive them....as for Campo....we all know that we are humans and we forgive each other, and move to the whatever mission lies ahead....you too polska are deserving of forgiveness.

and on the same theme....the last ones will be the first in the eye's of God....this is a motto of Campo as well....there is a predilection for those who other people reject...

I wonder if Soccer Coach is actually a “persona” or if TTP gives you the outlet to actually be yourself. I think you are smart enough to tone it down in real life. He missed practice so lost his marker, one session and that mistake will never happen again? For fcuk sakes go help out Mourinho for me.

Oh well. You will be surprised what one practice can do....yes.... after the 17-1, we had only a practice as there were many things to do during the restructuring of the club....the player got a bit confused and was a bit overwhelmed with the game...he got a yellow card within two minutes of the game and got a bit lost after this...after the goal occured we pulled him over...calmed him down and explained things in more detail...he played the second half much better...as he had no further issues with the referee and did better on the defensive movements...you will see it in the report...

Things remain incredibly tight at the top of the table. It looks like NorVan have been cut adrift of the top seven, now four points back, but who will win the title and who will miss out on finishing inside the top six, giving them the best chance possible to qualify for what is likely to be just six Provincial Cup places, is still anyone's guess. One team that won't be winning the title this season, though, is Campo. New era or not, the Burnaby was officially eliminated from title contention after their loss to first place West Van last week.

Completely Baseless Predictions - Week 14

CCB LFC v Coquitlam Metro Ford
MOTW with two of the form sides in the VMSL clashing. Both are unbeaten in their last six outings, though both have been the benefactors of a forfeited match. Coquitlam have won six in a row and can pull level with the top of the table should they win their make-up game from when Rovers were away at Nationals. Meanwhile, CCB have only a draw with league leaders West Van as a blemish on their record over the past six matches and have climbed into second place. The first meeting between these sides saw Metro ford knick a narrow 2-1 win thanks to a game winning goal from talisman Carlo Basso. Fortunately for CCB, that scenario will not be possible this time around as Basso has turned up on the VMSL hot sheet for yellow card accumulation. The timing is less than ideal for Coquitlam given Basso has recently recaptured his perennial all-star form after a brief dip that coincided with the team struggling to put up results as well. No such troubles for CCB as they will have leading scorer Milad Mehrabi available as well as the dynamic Victor Blasco to call upon, along with the other members of their star studded cast. CCB have been playing well defensively of late, which has laid the foundation for their current success, while the Tri-Cities boys have allowed the fewest goals in the league. So expect a cagey affair in this one as both sides look for the key moments to win them the match. Definitely a case where this one could go either way, which will likely be a theme down the stretch as the top of the table is so tight and the teams are all capable of taking points off each other on a given week. The fact that Metro Ford will be without their biggest weapon in this one would seem a big blow and it likely makes CCB slight favourites here to capitalize on their chances when they get them.

Croatia v West Van
After a hard fought slog to the top West Van will be looking to at least maintain their lead in the division, if not extend it. It will not be easy though as Croatia sit only four points back of the former Trollers and will be keen to narrow the gap to first place. The Europeans were once atop the table themselves this season, but a recent bleak stretch that has seen them pick up only six points over their last six games has resulted in them sinking to fifth place. While Croatia are still putting up the goals, they have 30 on the season which is two more than leaders West Van, it just seems that the goals are not necessarily coming when they need them. Certainly reigning Golden Boot winner David Malamura has not found the goals nearly as easy to come by this season, sitting with only five tallies to his name, while last season's leading scorer from the FVSL, Daniel Davidson, who joined Croatia in the summer, has not had nearly the impact he would have hoped for with only a lone goal scored for his new club. It points towards growing pains for a young group (although when player/coach Johnny Sulentic picks himself he certainly brings the average age up) still with some learning to do at this level. West Van have made their living in recent times off their solid defensive record. They lead the league with the fewest goals against last season and have the second best defensive record to this point of the season and have posted the most clean sheets. This is not something that leaps to mind as a cure for an enigmatic Croatia offense. The first meeting between these two produced one of those clean sheets for the North Shore boys, as they registered a 1-0 win. Unless Croatia's offense can suddenly click into gear, look for something similar this time around.

Pegasus v Rovers Tigers
Peg are in their best form of the season following back to back wins that have lifted them eight points clear of the relegation zone that their dreadful beginning to the season had them flirting with. As Coquitlam learned last year after a woeful start, climbing all the way back into the Provincial Cup conversation might be a bridge too far. Nevertheless, a solid 1-0 win over Rino's and an emphatic 3-1 victory over newly promoted NorVan on the road last week were much more the sorts of performances that we are accustomed to seeing from the Surrey boys. Now they will take on their local neighbours and defending VMSL, Provincial and National champions, Rovers. The first time they met was an ugly affair that ended early. It now shows as a 3-0 win for Rovers, but on the night it was 6-3 when the game had to be abandoned with ten minutes left to play. Pegasus had taken a early two goal lead on the night, only to watch Rovers two talismen Nick Soolsma and Pavi Dhillon bang in two apiece before half time. Tigers would then extend their lead to 6-2 before Peg pulled one back. Although unlikely, we never got to find out if the horsemen could complete the comeback when, after being sent off for receiving a second caution, Chetan Jhooty confronted the referee and refused to leave the field, causing the game to be abandoned. Of all the Surrey derbies, and there are several on the schedule these days, Rovers against Pegasus is certainly the one with the most venom at the minute. They went toe to toe for the title last season and Rovers ultimately clinched it against Peg before then eliminating them en route to their Provincial title. The game earlier this season just adds more spice to a great match up. Rovers are still favourites, mostly based on Peg's less than stellar season to date, but anything can happen in a derby game as we've seen so expect a cracker in this one.

Richmond Hibernian v NorVan
Perhaps the best result Richmond could have got last week came before any matches even kicked off when word got out that relegation rivals Guildford had forfeited their game. With Pegasus now pulling away from the danger zone it looks most likely that relegation will come down to either Richmond or Guildford, though Campo cannot be written off just yet. Hibs gave a decent account of themselves last week against a Rino's side that they seem to enjoy playing for whatever reason. In a heartbreaking result for the boys from below sea level, they surrendered a 3-1 halftime lead before ultimately coming away with nothing when they gave up the winner three minutes from time. While the points would have been invaluable, Hibs will be hoping their fighting spirit is a sign of good things to come. NorVan have hit a rough patch after posting some eye-catching early results in their return to Premier. It looks like competing for a Provincial Cup spot will be just beyond them this season, however there is still time to get back into that battle. It would make a win against lowly Richmond all but a must. Regardless of if they can get back into the conversation for the post-season tournament, it seems that, for all intents and purposes, they have wrapped up safety ahead of the winter break which is surely the main goal for the campaign. A thumping by Croatia followed by a 3-1 loss to once struggling Pegasus last time out are not great signs from the North Shore boys and that might well have Richmond fancying their chances in this one. I have to think that NorVan are favourites to bounce back with a win here, but expect a solid effort from Richmond. Last time these sides met Hibs were unable to replicate the form they had shown the week before in their shock victory over Rino's. This time around, if they can put in a similar performance to what they managed in that agonizing defeat last time out, there's a chance they come away with something. A long Friday night trip from the North Shore to Richmond also plays to the home team; I'll say this one finishes level.

Campo Atletico v Club Inter EDC
After a humiliating 17-1 defeat to Rovers three weeks ago, Campo shut down the engines and hit the reset button. After forfeiting their match with Coquitlam, what is old is new again as the club have turned back to the man who did the bulk of the heavy lifting in order to get them to this level before his acrimonious departure from the club due to philosophical differences. Eduardo Azmitia is back at the helm, though his re-debut began with a thud as Campo lost once more, making it a perfect unlucky 13 on the season. That being said, one assumes the team could take heart in reducing the difference from 16 to much more palatable two goals. It remains to be seen if this season can be salvaged for the Burnaby based men and their trademark striped socks, it would certainly be one of the greatest escapes if they could manage to stay up. The first hurdle for Azmitia will be getting the players to buy in to his vision for the club and time will tell if it can work the second time around or if it will once more end with the team and the man going their separate ways. In the meantime, expect a much more focused Campo side. Azmitia will know that the two matches against the other relegation threatened sides, Guildford and Richmond, are good opportunities for positive results, and indeed would be must wins if Campo are going to stay up. Beyond that, Campo will need to find at least three more points from somewhere and a team like Inter might just be the perfect victims. The Italian-Chileans look like they might well be the seventh team out of the top seven and find themselves on the outside looking in come the Provincial Cup. They sit seventh currently, without the benefit of games in hand, and have only managed two wins against the teams above them in the table, one being a narrow 1-0 over Coquitlam back in Week 2. Since then, their only other result of real consequence was a 3-2 win over Croatia. More concerning is the fact that they have dropped points to both NorVan and Pegasus who sit below them and have not been in the best form this season. A date with the disorganized, left for dead Campo would likely have been just what the doctor ordered for Inter. Instead, they get a presumably motivated and revitalized Campo (following, of course, a handful of further practices) and one that we have to assume will come in to this match ready to scrap for whatever points they can find. Inter of course remain favourites, but it will interesting to see how the Burnaby boys perform.

Guildford v Rino's Tigers
Talk about the wind coming out of the sails. After three win and a pair of good performances in narrow 1-0 losses, Guildford folded up shop last week and did not bother turning up to play CCB. Inexcusable really for any Premier side, but especially one with a u21 side from which players could have been called up. Fortunately for the Surrey side, their opponents this week prevented them from paying dearly for their cavalier abdication of points last weekend by beating Richmond. However, it was far from straightforward as, after losing in stunning fashion when the side first met back in Week 2, Rino's were staring directly at a repeat of that fate when the match reached halftime. Three second half goals, including a late winner from Daniel Johnson, saved Tigers' blushes and kept them in the heat of the title fight. The offensive outburst was much needed for Rino's given that it was the first time in five matches that they managed to score more than a single goal in a game. The dynamic, irresistible attacking prowess with which they had began the season had seemingly abandoned them and their results were suffering. A 4-3 win is hardly a thing of beauty, but certainly Rino's are not in any position to complain. Indeed, Guildford could have perhaps targeted a wounded Tigers side for potential bonus points in their relegation fight this weekend. Instead, it looks like Rino's will have another chance to get their offense back into gear against a suddenly listless opponent.
