In other news, rumblings out of the Inter camp that Joe Marrello is being pushed out... anyone have some insight? He's been with Inter forever going back to my time in Prem...
My guess is like some sort of monster he has been pushing a dressing room culture of showing up to games even when injured and hey sticking around for a bit after a game. Like an idiot he probably thinks socializing helps create togetherness. That old school mentality needs to go.

The game in hand for Rovers is against Peg who will surely be relegated by the time that match gets played. They are officially down if they lose their next league game against West Van, although one of their "remaining" games is 34 mins against Port Moody where they are already 3-1 down so it is ostensibly done for them already.
Point is it is pretty safe to have Rovers more or less on 20 points at this juncture. Then again, that is why they make you play the games. There were also rumblings of a possible Peg/Rovers merger for next season, so perhaps it is in Peg's best interest to drop that game anyway.
Whether or not 20 points is enough though remains to be seen. It has been incredibly competitive this season. Looking back through the archives 20 points almost always means safety, but perhaps not this year. White Eagles went down on 21 last season, which was certainly a recent high water mark, and they were third bottom and then lost a playoff as a result of the VMSL "expansion".
Nice to see a title race as well. It is officially down to two horses at the top but it might well go right to the wire.
As for Inter, I did hear something about the EDC merger fraying at the seems. Sounds like the league might have yet another Rino's vs. Tigers style "Who controls the spot?" debate on their hands.
