Agreed. Spent with only 11 for first game.
They had us on our heels for first 10 then it leveled off.
2-0 lead and they scored and had a PK.

Romania 0 v Croatia 1. Not pretty but 4 points to start the year where we had 0 after 6 games last year....we'll take it.

Yes Regs, 2-2 was the final. Columbus went up very early in the game on a defensive screw up. It was a was a pretty even game but thought we started coming at them harder. We had some chances including one point blank one which the keeper made a great save on (not sure if it was in but who knows). 1-0 at half. The 2nd half we kept pressing and finally got the equalizer on Mike Gomes header. Shortly after we got a pk which Mark Gomes slotted....2-1. We had our chances to get the insurance goal but the Columbus keeper made some great saves and we missed the net on a few. Approximately 15-20 to go, Columbus tied it up at 2-2. From there, both teams exchanged a few chances and one for us in the 90th min but couldn't finish our chance. Final score 2-2.

OK, BBQ is done but pints are still flowing.
We ( and by we I mean I) gave up a PK 10 in, they scored again halfway through second half for 2-0 lead
We clawed one back and then got a PK that was saved.
We pressed but couldn't equalize and they had opportunities to score as well.
Both keepers had phenomenal games tonight.

On to next week and looking for win 1 of the season
