Was there a report on what happened in the Croatia Romanian game? Other than a surprising score line

Romania – Croatia 5:1

Aside from the first 15 minutes we outplayed Croatia completely. 1:0 25 min in, 2:0 right before the half, 3:0 in 55th min, then they scored one back from a free kick, but 10 minutes later it was already 4:1, and game finished 5:1 with a fantastic final goal.

Gotta get those Sapperton makeup games in :)

Besides, it could be worse... Croatia has the next 7 weeks or so off until the BCs start

BTW, if only one of the top 4 make the final, does that mean PCOV and Westside would have a playoff (assuming neither are the other finalist in which case they would both be in)?

PCOV went up 3-0 on Richmond in the 1st half. We decided to make changes and get everyone in and it almost cost us. Richmond came out strong in the 2nd half and bagged a couple to make things close. We had our chances to get the insurance goal but couldn't do so. Final Pcov 3-2 Richmond. Kudos to Richmond to keep on fighting and make a game of it. They had many chances to tie it up. Kush and JJ with strong games for them and Dormer with 2 and Gomes with 1 for us were standouts tonight for us. On to Westside who had a nice come from behind win against Coloumbus.

That means the top three in the standings are now out. #s 4, 5, 6 and 8 remain. Provincial Cup qualification implications...

We came out completely flat in this game. By far the worst I've seen us play. Westside was all over us from beginning to end. We were missing a few key guys but the experience of Westside did the job. They know how to play the system when it counts. Westside scored early to take the lead. We got a 2nd yellow in the 2nd half midway through but it seemed like we played a little better and got the equalizer with 13 left. With about 4 left, Westside scored the winner off of a deflection from yours truly for the winner. On to the Provincials.

Good luck to Westside and West Van.

Rumor has it that Steve Mac is back in the squad for West Van. Making his debut today in final.
