I believe Div 1 teams can only enter the A cup or opt out of playing in Cup. If they could play for the B Cup then we all know that's where The Flying Horses would enter!
Sir M, I'm not one to be usually recognized and to call me a recognized expert? Wow I've never received a compliment like that before, not even from my kids!! LOL

VANCOUVER METRO SOCCER LEAGUE
2012-2013 CUP PLAY
IMPORTANT NOTES
Home teams are always listed first.
Home teams are reminded that it is their responsibility to prepare the field of play.
Away teams are to change jerseys in case of a colour conflict.
The officials’ fees are to be shared equally between the two teams.
In case of a tie—expect for the semi-final and final games—the result will be decided by penalty kicks. In the semi-finals and final, in case of a tie, two 15-minute halves of overtime will be played. If the game is still tied after overtime, the result will be decided by penalty kicks.
The CAT system will NOT be in effect during Cup play.
Preliminary round of Norvan vs Vancouver United, 4 vs 1 from Div 1 should be a good game.
I would assume West Van will walk away with their Prelim game quite easily.
The round of 16 is now set, and goes this coming weekend. Lots of Premier vs Div 1 ties here:
Game 3: Columbus FC ‘M-A’(Premier 3rd) vs Shaheen FC ‘M’(Premier 9th)
Game 4: Meraloma FC ‘M-A’(Div 1 4th) vs Westside FC ‘M-A’(Premier 6th)
Game 5: PCOV ‘M-A’(Premier 5th) vs Burnaby Wolves(Div 1 9th)
Game 6: Rino’s Fury Bulldogs(Div 1 10th) vs Richmond Hibernians ‘M’(Premier 7th)
Game 7: Croatia SC ‘M-A’(Premier 1st) vs Romanian SC ‘M’(Premier 8th)
Game 8: Sapperton Rovers(Premier 10th) vs Bombastic FC Classic(Div 1 3rd)
Game 9: PoCo Castilians(Premier 2nd) vs West Van Flying Horses(Div 1 7th)
Game 10: West Van FC 'M'(Premier 4th) vs Vancouver United Westside Rangers(Div 1 2nd)
I will echo what Yoda asked earlier as I missed it probably due to the amount of Westside teams. But why as Div 1 leaders would not Westside Originals be entered in this tournament? I originally assumed that they were our opponents this week for old times sake but now I think they have not entered? What gives?
We've already got a team up there. If it ended up WS vs. WS in the final, everyone would be crying foul. For the record, we have never influenced the refs in any way or fashion, and if anyone has pictures of Vegvota passed out beside our beer cooler, they are of his identical twin brother.
