Nothing to see here Week 3 Table

New team for us put together from club grads and guys from the community after the U21 Div. 2 plan fell flat, so players are still trying to get used to each other. Level of play is a bit uneven as some teams would definitely be competitive in Div. 3 (like SST FC who were promoted after 5 games); others not so much. Would like to say our lads should be doing better but they are definitely underachieving. Looking for a couple of wins for them to turn things around. Current leaders are Met C; Adam K. is playing with them and has a pretty cohesive group.

FC Toro were previously a Div. 3 team but were relegated after 5 games, some of which were quite one-sided.

Add one more slightly one-sided result... Dynamo 7 Toro 0. Don't know if they're going to make it to the end of the season at this rate.

Still nothing to see here Week 12 standings...



Slightly better showing by our lads over the last few weeks with closer games and a couple of decent wins against teams above them in the table. They've improved a bit but so have some of the other sides. Schedule this season is 21 games, but I don't know if they'll be able to catch either of the two on top. Biggest surprise for me so far is that our 45 year old keeper is on top of the clean sheets listing.

Young lads playing Albania today for 3rd place. Hope they're up to it.

Lads did the job today with a 3-2 win over Albania. Catching Met C for 2nd looks unfortunately a bit of a bridge too far as both teams have 5 games left and our lads would have to overcome a 12 point deficit to catch them. Mathematically possible, but dependent on a lot of outside help.
