Wtf is this?

Putting 2 and 2 together this is a society of current and former drug users that were given a 350k grant by the former mayor and council of Vancouver. This front was responsible for the downtown esat side clean up. They were paying drug users 20 bucks and hour to clean up their own shite and live rent free on the sidewalks and parks of Vancouver.

Earlier today Vandu posted on Twitter on video of the vpd taking down a know drug dealer in the dts and moaned about the use of excessive force because a bean bag gun and dog were used. Of course hearts were bleeding for attention over this.

Judge for yourself.

As of this evening The new mayor terminated that contract with Vandu.

Enjoy paying your phone and internet bills now!

Finally a Win for the good guys

Rant over.

Wife mentioned the other day when she had to go into the office how much that area is a totally different world now (she had to drive through as a detour from viaduct).

Crazy shite. But what's the solution? Too many bleeding hearts now to do a bit of a tough love operation. I mean, you can't help people who don't want to be helped and too many white people making it their cause to speak for others and exhibit faux outrage and twatter virtue signaling.

Tax payer money going towards rehabilitating and hospital care would be a start. The enabling society we live in now clearly isn't working and is only getting worse. The corrupt structure that's been in place has continued for to long. It needs to end. Something has to give.

this is actually very simple. harm reduction does work if you include the forced, abstinence based recovery with it. that's the fourth "pillar". anywhere it's worked, people who get taxpayer funded "safe" drugs are required to enter abstience based recovery.

I'm happy for my taxdollars to go to people who want to get help and get clean. It's the right thing to do in a compassionate society and benefits everyone anyway. but when all we are doing is supplementing their illegally obtained (and often dirty) supply, and running our paramedics ragged down there administering narcan, that's not remotely a solution.

What you see downtown today is the result of people who at best are indifferent and at worst are complicit in ($$$) the latter approach.

Any word when that Portland Hotel Society audit is gonna be finished? Thought so...
