Nedved

Doesn't matter unless those F'ing Rangers don't start scoring some goals. That goes double for Stars, Blues, and Flyers as well.

Screwing up 2 pools for me.

Regs,

I will admit to it being a wild accusation. False though? We do not yet know. I tune in to Ranger games just to hear, "Rangers dump the puck in deep, Nedved in the corner to get it and he is stapled to the end boards by Stevens! A devastating hit and Nedved is slow to get up!"

condolences to those who thought it a good idea to select Al MacInnis...

from the ESPN NHL site:

Al MacInnis, a former Norris Trophy winner with one of the hardest slap shots in NHL history, will be sidelined indefinitely after undergoing eye surgery Friday.

and to the lonely 2 guys who thought it was even better to take the offensively gifted Derian Hatcher...

Detroit Red Wings defenseman Derian Hatcher will miss four to six months after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

unlucky boys :)

After looking at my selections again, I truly feel that I will finish last this year. Zhamnov is out and I obviously meant to select Lalime and Aebescher. Instead Kolzig and Osgood came out. Fcuk. Whoever took Ilya Kovalchuk will be very happy with his game tonight. A hat-trick and all three goals were on the power play.........A nice 12 point night. That is more than I have had in the last week. :( One of these years, I will do some research instead of plunking in players 10 minutes before the deadline. Fcuk.

You won't see me until the last day of the year. I'm in about the same spot as I was this time last season.

I'm not worried.

Yet.:(

I Love This Team

1 HOS & Sarge 87 24 42 112 14 0 4 1 1.5 78.3 147.6 147.6 1.70 0 0

Look who is in first place, Team Sarge and HOS, Peg and Khalsa working together to win the TTP hockey pool.

Top team in the hockey pool, top 2 teams in the VMSL Premier Div.

And Sarge, you doubted HOS on the Ilya pick, got to love the young russian kid.

Get used to it boys.

This is for T&T, don't we have a side bet?

Worst Week: T & T 40.2 pts 10/12/2003
Best Day: HOS & Sarge 46.5 pts 10/18/2003

HOS and Sarge:wa:

The Colorado Avalanche lost star winger Paul Kariya to a wrist injury and completed a significant trade today, acquiring Steve Konowalchuk from the Washington Capitals in exchange for winger Bates Battaglia and prospect Jonas Johansson.
Who tool Kariya? Did I?:(

Kariya

I'm #2 of 6 people in the pool.

THought i'd go with someone that not everyone else was picking.
the other 20 people took Naslund.

HOS, HOS, HOS

Top team in the hockey pool, top 2 teams in the VMSL Premier Div.
I say's pardon? Want to rethink that Mr. Mighty mid table? It's too bad things go through your hands faster than your skull. You're not a top team let alone #2.

BTW, simon just passed you by 3.8 points last I looked.

14th and proud of it.

No problem, Bigyun. I took Kariya too, so I officially have the following on the injury list...

Eric Lindros, Alexei Zhamnov, The Russian cnut from Washington(Berezin), Paul Kariya, and for good measure I have Olaf Kolzig and Chris Osgood as my goalies. Is there a price for 33rd place like there is in footy survivor? How about 23rd? Last? Fcuking hopeless. I know one other player is injured too but I can't think of him right now.

I bet that's the last time you'll let TR pick your pool

Captain,
It's Gagne but he would probably have just as many points if he wasn't injured.
I think the Flyers have only scored 2 goals all season.

Lucky enough

I only took Recchi who has had a pretty good season so far for me. (Knock on wood)

As for Kariya, just read in a CBC article that he could be out for a month.
