With the way Les Blows and the I-Ties played today, I could see Romania going through on Goal Differential. They are now a -3. :D :D :D

vaaaaaaan bronkchorst....3 nil...incredible, it's amazing..chills.
Honestly it could have been much much worse for the I-ties. The first goal was offside by the rule book, but if you're going to fake really being hurt behind the goal I say play on :D. In my mind it makes up for the PK, lets be honest,Toni would have gone down like he was shot and got the PK. I Missed the first 10 minutes but caught the important stuff. Pretty quite on commercial I bet...

That was a great match!

Bulljive you are one smart TTPer... vaaaaaaan bronkchorst was amazing - I mentioned to someone sitting beside me that he, in this one game, has become the new Roberto Carlos in terms of being the most recognized and celebrated outside back in the world.

The first goal was a mile offside - did I hear correctly that the ruling was the Italian player took himself off the pitch and thus was deemed still in play? That's pretty weak.

But that shouldn't take away from the display the Dutch put on, that was Total Football.

Too bad they'll find away to cokc it all up in the Quarters or Semi's

:D

Would way rather have Grosso than Van Blahblah (could care less to spell it :D), why him and Chiellini didn't start (the game changed when Grosso came in, Materazzi not a good replacement for Cannavaro) is beyond me. But hindsight is 20/20 I guess. I can't see Del Piero coming off the bench next game either.

Van Blah Blah? Do you mean Gio Van Bronckhorst? Van Der Vaart? or Van Nistelrooj?

Those 3, all three of them, Van Blah blahs made Italy look pretty average
