Guys this sort of thing happens everywhere. Star players are treated different in lots of sports. As much as many of us want to believe it's all just sport and fairness and integrity are the backbone, they're a business first. And like all successful businessman money and success trumps being fair or equal.

I dunno bulljive, you do that sort of shite in any of the major leagues in Europe and you're getting a serious holiday. Lots of examples (Premiership) over the years to draw from : Suarez, Cantona, Barton, DiCanio & Keane instantly come to mind.

A leg breaking tackle, Suarez 3rd biting incident are a bit different. But you're right soccer in Europe does it right. Look at North American sports though, hockey suspensions have a long history of being skewed, rules even. Basketballs is there a bigger example of stars getting free reign to travel, get fouls for everything etc.
