No. He was a solo artist back in the mid 80's. Not helix, although I suppose I could ask a bunch of Helix questions shouldn't I.

Hint - He opened for Loverboy at Expo Theatre in 1986.

I did use the internet!

I was putting together a CD of old classic songs a while back and Doug and the Slugs "Makin' it Work" was one of the songs I was putting on. Did a little internet research on their songs to see what other songs they had and just remembered reading that somewhere.

Luck of the draw is guess. Would have never known that otherwise in a million years.

TheRob must have been reading this mornings province for the Billy Joel question.
