My take is a lot of what he’s going to say is 100% the truth. The club especially last season(last 10 years) was shambolic. Heading to City, probably would of scored 30+ goals. Comes to United as Fergie asked him too and wants a final swan song. What he finds is a mess that you can’t help in your last 2 years when really he wants to pad his stats and finish his legacy as maybe the best ever.
I doubt he’s been quiet about what’s generally unacceptable at the top club. Training habits, facilities and so on. Yet he’s been the scape goat, the cancer in the media. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Yes I think he’s an egotistical baby that doesn’t realize he’s no longer a complete stud.

No way he comes out of this looking great. Hard to criticize the manager here. Are you supposed to get 90min because you’re Ronaldo? He’s trying to completely change the culture. Sad end. He’s done and I don’t totally blame him. I actually feel for him a bit. My hope is this continues United on the path of fixing this stuff. My worry is with the Glazers and current structure, maybe we simply can’t get to the next level.

Can anyone see the logic on ManU acquiring Weghorst, never mind having him start almost every game? He must be the weakest, slowest and least performing forward I have ever seen. Though not on MU, even Andy Carroll (the second most useless forward I can think of) could score the odd goal in between his pouting and bitchface.

Couldn’t disagree more, he’s been good. Not elite but….you realize we’ve lost one game right? Works his bag off and pressures from the front. Getting himself in positions to score. A stop gap for sure but we needed him. Antony I’d transfer for a stack of cones at the moment.
