We're off to the Island for a Saturday game...what the fcuk? I haven't played a Saturday game for a long time. I was told last week that Columbus were in the O-35 Cup but they're scheduled to play another Gorge team in the O-30 cup. Have you seen the O-35 draw? What a dog's breakfast! I've never seen anything like it...three teams getting byes and then another 2 teams who bypass the first round altogether and play each other in the second round. They only have 11 teams so I guess someone from the VMSL got involved in the format.

Anyways, it should be a good tourney with the 4 leagues going at it. Right off the bat there's the top team on the North Shore playing the BC Champs. I myself am sitting this one out with a bum knee but hopefully the boys will give me a swig out of the cup come the finals.
