Quite an even, uneventful and sloppy first half. The narrow pitch didn't help matters. Really thought the boys carried the play for much of the second half. Even being a man down (Costley) for the last 20 minutes I thought the boys were very active going forward. The way Alberta played the second half it seemed like they were content with a draw.

Personally thought the second yellow was harsh (the first one wasnt!), also felt a peno could have easily been called in our favor.

Saying that, its a very long tournament and getting a result (even though it was a draw) is not that bad of a thing to deal with. Obviously the Alberta/Quebec match tomorrow will be of great importance but more importantly Peg still controls its own destiny.

Off to St. Johns tomorrow to meet up with the boys.

When I played years and years ago, a red card meant you were out for the next game at a minimum.

Maybe someone who still plays soccer can chime in and let us know if that is still a rule.

I assume a game too but the double yellow is what I meant and if there was another, lenient rule.

I got two yellows in Manitoba many moons back and was eligible to still play, but thinking back now it was two separate games.

Just curious if its more than one I guess as I would assume a match as well.
