Sapperton Rovers Signing Press Conference Misunderstood


Sapperton Rovers President and GM, WAB, confirmed Friday night he was on the verge of signing 4 new players."I watched these 4 players play for 3 hours, and I must say they are as keen as any", an elated WAB stated during his interview. "These players have been practising hard for the last couple of weeks getting ready for this opportunity.".

When WAB announced the list, the gallery was stunned.
Gary Donald - he's already signed
Greg Basham - he's in his 50s!
Jeff Rogers - also signed and on the IR
Kelly (last name unknown) - and a girl!

When asked what was up, WAB replied, "This is our 5-pin bowling team! My soccer team is set and ready for a run at the Provincials. But more importantly, the bowling season starts in 3 weeks."
