How does the Nations League tie in to World Cup qualifying?(if it does)

Can't wait to find out where our home game will be. Might even make a road trip for it!

The States are definitely a good squad but one would argue that they are going through a rebuild and quite possibly there's no better time than now to play them.

TBD

Montagliani wants to reform the qualifying format (he calls the current one "archaic") as the majority of CONCACAF is eliminated roughly two years before the WC takes place.

No consensus (or even proposal that I have heard of...) yet on what that might look like.

And playing for the second best team in Scotland. Not too bad.

Nice to see Laryea earn a spot. He has been playing well for TFC and Canada is weak at Right back. I think he helps this team at that spot. Looks like some adjustment to Center back as well with Vitoria back in the mix. Would have liked to see Jacob Shaffelberg(sp) of TFC get a crack as well he has been playing well but Canada is pretty strong going forward. Looks like Akindele has worked his way back in as well. No Arfield however I imagine due to his season starting,

Good catch Regs I did some digging:

David Wotherspoon (born 16 January 1990) is a Scottish-born Canadian professional footballer who plays for St Johnstone, as a midfielder. Wotherspoon started his career with Hibernian and has also represented Scotland at youth international levels, up to and including the under-21 level. He has been capped by Canada at full international level.

His mom was born here and Canada convinced him to Play.

Gotta be concerned about our backline.

Suspect Henry and Cornelius will be given strong consideration to start as the CB air given their familiarity at WFC.

The games against the US are going to be huge. We need a win and a tie at least I am thinking for any hope of making it to the hex. The yanks will already be in and will hopefully not be interested.

On a side note Panama lost to Bermuda which pushed them below is in the Hex rankings.
