good post djones...fighting isn't at all about how "tough" you are, you need to be able to skate well, balance etc...
didnt see the kassian hordi fights, but hordi is past it and shouldnt be tangling with kassian anyways...if he goes out without his proper gear he should be fined as should his coach. hit these guys where it hurts most: $$$$

it would appear that going out sans elbow pads would be against the rules
